Maine Coon cats are gentle, quiet, and don't meow much, making them easy to get along with. Although they are relatively large, Maine Coons love to cuddle with their owners, and their meows are quite distinctive, producing a chirping sound like a bird. They are also very loyal and obedient to their owners, and will protect them in times of danger, making them very suitable pets. 
Signs a Maine Coon has chosen its owner:
1. Once a cat recognizes its owner, it becomes very clingy and will follow its owner wherever they go.
2. When the owner comes home, it is very enthusiastic towards the owner and will rub its head against the owner.
3. When its owner calls it, it will immediately run to its owner's side and bark at them.
4. They are very relaxed in front of their owner and will allow their owner to pet them. Sometimes they will even expose their belly for their owner to pet.
