Plants that cats should not keep:
1. Lily
Most people like to display lilies in vases at home. Experts point out that lilies contain trace amounts of stimulants, and prolonged inhalation can cause over-excitement and even difficulty falling asleep at night. If a cat accidentally ingests lilies, it can lead to kidney failure and even death within hours. Therefore, cat owners should never keep lilies as pets.
2. Tulips
Tulips are elegant in appearance and come in a variety of colors, but their flowers contain an alkaloid. If people or animals are in contact with tulips for 2-3 hours, they will experience dizziness and other symptoms of poisoning. In severe cases, it can even cause hair loss. 
3. Evergreen
Many people keep evergreen plants because they believe they can remove formaldehyde; however, the leaves and sap of the evergreen plant contain toxins. These toxins include oxalic acid and aspartic acid. Ingestion can cause inflammation in the mouth, throat, and esophagus. In severe cases, it can damage the vocal cords, leading to temporary hoarseness, and also affect the digestive system. If humans experience these problems, imagine how much more likely cats will suffer! Please be extremely careful!
4. Oleander
Oleander flowers and the entire plant are poisonous, containing various cardiac glycosides, which are highly toxic substances that can damage the respiratory and digestive systems in humans. Ingestion of oleander sap can cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. If a cat ingests it, it can be fatal. Pet owners should never keep oleander at home; it's bad for both themselves and their cats.
5. Mandala
Datura is like an invisible killer; its entire plant is poisonous, with the seeds being the most toxic, followed by the young leaves, and the flowers having anesthetic properties. Its sap stimulates the central nervous system; ingestion produces excitement and may cause hallucinations. If ingested in excess, datura flowers can cause over-excitation of the central nervous system, leading to a sudden drop in bodily functions and, in severe cases, death. Cats are very sensitive to this flower; ingestion can cause poisoning and even death.
