Cat bathing precautions:
1. Do not bathe kittens under 3 months old. Kittens have weak immune systems, and bathing them carries certain risks.
2. Do not bathe your cat when the temperature is too low. It is best to choose a warm, sunny day for bathing. You can bathe your cat more frequently in summer, but try to avoid bathing in winter.
3. Do not bathe your cat one week before or after vaccination. Cats may experience adverse reactions after vaccination, and bathing may lower their immunity.
4. When bathing your cat, simply dry its head with a damp towel. Cats' eyes, ears, and noses are quite sensitive. Water in the ears can easily cause otitis media, water in the nose can cause choking, and shampoo in the eyes can easily cause conjunctivitis, keratitis, and other eye infections. 
Tips for bathing your cat:
1. Most cats will not resist too much when taking a bath as long as their fur is gradually wetted. However, if the owner directly floods the cat with water, it is likely to cause the cat to panic.
2. When bathing a cat, you should start by washing its back and leave the head for last. This is because most cats are very sensitive to their heads, and will shake their heads wildly if their heads get even a little water on them.
3. Be careful when choosing shampoo for your cat. Never use human shampoo; always choose pet-specific shampoo.
4. After bathing, quickly dry the cat with a towel and comb it. For long-haired cats, pat them dry and avoid rubbing their fur with a towel to prevent tangles and difficulty in grooming.
