The reason why Persian cats have different eyes:
The reason why Persian cats have different colored eyes is because they are not purebred. Purebred Persian cats have only one color in both eyes and do not have heterochromia. Heterochromatic Persian cats have a genetic defect and are prone to various diseases, so it is not recommended to breed heterochromatic Persian cats in large quantities.
Persian cats have different eye defects:
1. Most cats with heterochromia (different colored pupils) may have hearing impairment, affecting their hearing. Some heterochromatic cats may also experience blurred vision or nearsightedness. This is caused by a congenital genetic defect, and no treatment can cure it.
2. Cats with heterochromia have a genetic defect. Purebred Persian cats have uniform eye color, which can be blue, copper, gold, or amber. The darker and purer the color, the more pure the breed it appears to be.
