How to get your cat to exercise:
1. Provide your cat with a cat tree. A cat tree provides a good place for your cat to rest and sharpen its claws, allowing it to climb up and down and improve its physical fitness.
2. Regularly change the layout of your cat's activity area. In areas where your cat can roam, frequently rearrange the items and furniture. Cats are very curious animals, and changes to their environment will encourage them to explore again.
3. The simplest way to get your cat to exercise more is to place its food bowl, water bowl, and litter box—three places it must go to every day—in three different, farthest locations in the room. This means the cat will need to go to different places to drink, eat, and relieve itself.
4. You can use props such as cat toys, yarn balls, or cat grass to play with your cat and encourage it to exercise.
The dangers of lack of exercise in cats:
1. If a cat lacks exercise, its physical condition will deteriorate, and it will be more likely to get sick.
2. Cats that lack exercise are very prone to obesity. Obesity not only makes cats look bloated, but it can also cause many diseases.
3. Lack of exercise can also cause indigestion and gastrointestinal problems.
