Food for kittens with anemia:
1. Choose nutritious cat food as the main diet, supplemented with iron- and protein-rich meat. However, do not overfeed, as it may cause indigestion.
2. You can prepare some blood-replenishing paste for your cat to supplement its body with ferrous sulfate, protein, vitamin B12, folic acid, and some trace elements involved in hematopoiesis and metabolism. This can quickly replenish blood, restore the body's vitality, prevent anemia, and protect the liver while replenishing blood.
3. For cats with anemia, you can feed them fish, chicken liver, nutritional paste, vegetables, and fruits.
Causes of anemia in kittens:
1. Aplastic anemia: Aplastic anemia is anemia caused by dysfunction of bone marrow hematopoietic function due to certain factors.
2. Blood loss anemia: Blood loss anemia is anemia caused by external injury, rupture of internal organs (such as liver and spleen), etc.
3. Nutritional anemia: Anemia can also be caused by malnutrition in cats.
4. Disease-related anemia: Feline AIDS, feline leukemia, and other diseases can cause bone marrow hematopoietic dysfunction.
