It is not recommended for Siamese cats to sleep with people, for the following reasons:
1. When cats sleep with humans, humans are easily infected with fleas or skin diseases from the cats. The cats may also have fungal infections. Prolonged close contact can lower the body's immunity and may lead to fungal infections such as ringworm.
2. It can easily cause cat scratch disease. You may accidentally get scratched by a cat while you are asleep, which can lead to cat scratch disease. Cat scratch disease is a disease caused by Bargainella infection, which causes fever, rash and swollen lymph nodes.
3. In addition, when the owner falls asleep, they may accidentally squeeze the sleeping cat, which can easily lead to a tragic accident where the cat is crushed.
How to get a Siamese cat to sleep in its bed:
1. Prepare a cat bed. Owners should prepare a soft and comfortable cat bed for their cats and place it in a warm, quiet, and well-ventilated place.
2. Keep the cat warm. Owners can place hot water bottles or use light bulbs for illumination and warmth in the cat's bed to make it warm and comfortable.
3. Chase the cat away. Cats love to sleep on the bed, and owners must stop them immediately and not indulge them. When you find your cat trying to get into bed, you can loudly scold it to make it stop and chase it off the bed. Alternatively, you can gently pat its head or rump to teach it a lesson.
