What should you pay attention to when raising a Scottish Fold cat?
1. After reaching adulthood, you should take your pet to a reputable veterinary clinic for a check-up every six months and adjust your feeding methods based on the results.
2. Vaccinations can be given around 9 to 12 weeks of age. Vaccines are needed to prevent infectious diseases and rabies. The vaccines to prevent infectious diseases mainly protect against three common feline infectious diseases: feline panleukopenia virus, feline herpesvirus, and feline calicivirus.
3. In addition to feeding your Scottish Fold cat its main food, regularly supplement its diet with chicken breast, fish, healthy fruits and vegetables, and egg yolks, but be careful to do so in moderation. For its main food, it's recommended to choose a cat food with a protein content of 36% or higher.
4. Pet owners should check their Scottish Fold cats' sitting posture and paws for swelling or deformation every day. If any abnormalities are found, take the cat to the vet immediately.
5. Regularly deworm your Scottish Fold cat. It is recommended to deworm internally once a month and externally every three months. If your Scottish Fold cat becomes infected with parasites, it may experience symptoms such as hair loss, weight loss, coughing, anemia, and diarrhea, which will make it very uncomfortable. 
Care methods for Scottish Fold cats
1. The fur needs to be brushed regularly. For short-haired cats, brush once a week, and for long-haired cats, brush twice a week to prevent fur balls from forming.
2. Provide your cat with a scratching post and trim its nails every few weeks.
3. Brush your teeth at least once a week to maintain good dental hygiene habits.
4. Check your ears weekly for signs of irritation, mites, or infection.
5. Keeping the cat's litter box clean helps to cultivate the cat's habit of using the litter box.
