Tools needed for raising a cat:
1. Litter box, cat litter, and litter scoop. Cats prefer fine-grained cat litter to larger granules. Many cat litters contain added fragrances, so try to choose litter without any odor.
2. Water and food bowls. Cats are very clean animals, so water and food bowls must be separate. They should be made of sturdy, durable, easy to clean, and not prone to trapping dirt. It is recommended to wash your cat's food bowls frequently and change the water daily.
3. Nail clippers. Used to trim a cat's nails.
4. Cat bed. You can choose a wooden cat bed. Wooden cat beds are stable and sturdy, easy to clean, and also provide a good place for cats to scratch. They are cool in summer and can be kept warm in winter by adding a cotton pad.
5. Hair brush. Cats shed a lot and groom themselves daily, licking their bodies multiple times. To prevent cats from ingesting too much cat hair and affecting their digestion, a hair brush is essential.
Daily care tips for cats:
1. Cat owners should use the same food bowl for their cats consistently and avoid changing it frequently. Cats are quite sensitive creatures, especially to their own belongings. Otherwise, they may refuse to eat.
2. Cats don't have big appetites, so in addition to regular meals, cat owners can give their cats some treats occasionally. However, remember not to overfeed them, as too many treats are not healthy for cats.
3. After getting a cat, you should vaccinate it regularly. There are two main types of vaccines for cats: the feline triple vaccine and the rabies vaccine.
