Generally, it's recommended to feed cats 2-3 times a week. However, cats primarily rely on protein for energy, so the carbohydrate content in their food should be minimized. It's suggested to use ingredients like chicken breast, beef, carrots, and cauliflower to prepare their food. This provides sufficient vitamins and protein without burdening their digestive system.
What to keep in mind when preparing cat food:
1. Do not give cats seasonings such as soy sauce, MSG, pepper, and chili.
2. If you are raising a kitten, it is recommended that you feed it cat food as its main food. After it becomes an adult, you can feed it appropriate amounts of cat food.
3. Raw meat may contain parasites, so owners should cook the meat thoroughly before feeding it to their cats.
4. Cat food must be fresh. For cats, diarrhea can be a matter of life and death.
5. Cat food must be thoroughly cooked and washed to effectively prevent parasites.
