At what stage is it not suitable for kittens to be bathed?
1. During illness
Cat owners must be aware that you should never bathe your cat while it is sick. Because the cat's immune system is very weak at this time, bathing it may worsen its condition and hinder its recovery.
If your cat is sick and its body is very dirty, you can use a dry cleaning glove to wipe its body.
2. Cats that have just been vaccinated
Cats should never be bathed immediately after receiving their vaccinations. Their immune systems are relatively weak at this time, and bathing them can easily lead to colds, fevers, and other serious health problems.
Cats should generally be bathed a week after receiving their vaccinations, and the water temperature should be carefully monitored. They should also be dried immediately after bathing. Cat owners should take note: there are specific guidelines for bathing your cat; you can't just bathe them haphazardly.
3. Kittens under three months old
It is not recommended to bathe kittens under three months old, as their immune system is relatively weak at this age. Bathing them hastily can easily cause them to catch a cold and may also lead to emotional abnormalities.
Kittens older than three months have better immunity and can be bathed when the temperature is stable, and then dried promptly.
4. The cat I just brought home
If you've just brought your cat home, remember not to bathe it. Newly adopted cats are often stressed and anxious, and bathing them can easily cause stress.
You should only bathe your cat when it is in a stable mood, familiar with its home environment, and has a good immune system.
