Raw meat is not easy to digest. No matter how good a cat's digestive system is, unexpected situations can still occur. Rather than that, it's better to avoid feeding them raw meat from the start, especially since raw meat may contain bacteria and parasites.
Wouldn't it be better to eat cooked meat? Cooking doesn't destroy the nutrients in meat, and it also avoids these problems. In addition, raw meat has a fishy smell that gets everywhere, making the house smell bad. It will also make the cat's mouth smell bad, and it will be uncomfortable to get close to the cat when playing with it.
It's often said that eating raw meat will improve a cat's coat, but there's no scientific basis for that. As long as a cat gets adequate nutrition, its coat will naturally improve; it's not because of eating raw meat.
