It is not recommended to give cats milk. Most cats are lactose intolerant, meaning they lack the enzyme lactase. Therefore, the high lactose content in milk cannot be absorbed by cats and will directly enter their large intestine, causing bloating, abdominal pain, flatulence, and diarrhea.

If it's a kitten, because their digestive system is not fully developed, this can cause severe diarrhea, which may lead to dehydration and even trigger viral diseases, resulting in the kitten's death.

Besides milk, owners should also avoid feeding their cats alcoholic beverages and carbonated drinks, as these are harmful to their health. Therefore, it's recommended that owners primarily supplement their cats' diet with cat food and goat milk powder.
