Whether kittens can be bathed depends on their age. Newborn kittens should not be bathed because their immune systems are weak, and they are gradually losing the protection of maternal antibodies. Bathing kittens at this time can easily damage their skin and increase the risk of illness and colds.
Kittens older than three months can be bathed, but the water temperature must be carefully controlled during the bath, maintaining it between 35℃ and 38℃. It should not be below 35℃ or above 40℃. After bathing, keep the kitten warm and dry it thoroughly. If any abnormal reactions occur after bathing, such as sneezing or runny nose, it is recommended that the owner take the kitten to the vet for treatment.
