Three-month-old kittens can eat egg yolks, but it's not recommended to feed them too much at once, nor should egg yolks be their primary food source. While egg yolks are highly nutritious, they are too nutrient-poor and a long-term diet can easily lead to malnutrition in kittens. Egg whites have very little moisture, so to prevent choking, it's recommended to cut them into small pieces and mix them with the kitten food, or mix them with other wet food.

A 9-pound cat eating one egg a day is equivalent to a normal adult eating 15 eggs a day. Some people have done more precise calculations, taking into account metabolic factors, and one egg per cat is equivalent to eight eggs for a human. Therefore, feeding a cat one egg a day is, in my opinion, very unreasonable. However, there is no precise scientific data on the exact amount to feed them. My current method is to feed about 20 cats one raw egg a day.
