The main reason I don't keep white cats at home is because their color gets dirty very easily, and white cats are very active and like to hide in corners, so when their fur gets dirty, they become very filthy.
White cats also shed a lot, especially during seasonal changes, leaving white fur everywhere in the house, which is very troublesome to clean.
One reason not to keep a white cat at home is that white cats may have physical defects. Most white cats will have heterochromia (different colored eyes), and heterochromia cats often have certain defects in vision or hearing.
