How to clean ear mites in cats:
1. Soak a cotton swab with baby oil, hold the cat in your arms, and gently fold the outside of the cat's ear to expose the ear canal. Then, use the cotton swab to wipe away any dirt from the outer ear and ear canal.
2. Next, dip a cotton swab in a little ear cleaning solution and gently touch the ear mite. After the inside softens, release the swab and then lift the ear and drip 2 to 3 drops of ear cleaning solution into the ear canal.
3. Next, gently rub the base of the ears and wipe away any remaining liquid and dirt shaken off by the cat with a tissue. 
Methods to prevent ear mites in cats:
1. Regular deworming is necessary, including both internal and external treatments. External treatments should be effective against ear mites. Internal parasites can affect the body's immunity, so internal treatments are also important.
2. Clean your cat's ears with ear cleaning solution once a week. Also, provide your cat with a dry and clean environment.
3. If a cat comes into contact with a pet that has ear mites, it is very likely to get ear mites from it, so cats should try to avoid contact with stray cats and dogs.
