Cats can eat dragon fruit. Fruits are high in sugar, and excessive fruit consumption can increase a cat's risk of developing diabetes. Sugar is closely linked to weight gain; cats are prone to obesity if they consume too much sugar. However, the type of fruit a cat can eat needs to be considered individually. Some cats vomit after eating certain fruits, indicating that their digestive system cannot tolerate those fruits, and feeding them to these cats should be stopped immediately.

It's best not to feed dragon fruit to kittens, as their digestive systems are not yet fully developed, and feeding them dragon fruit may cause gastrointestinal upset and soft stools. Avoid feeding them raw or cold dragon fruit (just taken out of the refrigerator). Feed them small amounts each time, and monitor their health and stool condition for a day afterward.
