What is the personality of a Siamese cat like? Can you accept these unique traits?
1. Loves going out: Most cats prefer to stay quietly at home, but Siamese cats are different. They look like cats, but their core is that of a dog. Going for a walk is what they want to do most every day. Siamese cats are meant to be taken out for walks. If you're getting a cat because you don't want to walk a dog, then I advise you not to get a Siamese cat.
2. Clingy Personality: Siamese cats are a very sensitive breed and have an extremely clingy personality. They may even refuse to eat when their owner is not around. If you don't have enough time to spend with your cat, it's not advisable to choose a Siamese cat.
3. High Energy Levels: Siamese cats are very energetic and naturally playful, so they always want to go out and play. If they stay at home for long periods, they will exhibit destructive behavior, scratching, chewing, and breaking almost anything in the house. If you don't have much time to play with your cat, it's strongly advised against getting a Siamese cat.
4. Loves to meow: Siamese cats especially love to meow, like a loudspeaker on an endless loop, which can easily disturb their owners and neighbors. If you prefer a quiet environment and can't stand the meowing of a Siamese cat, you should seriously consider whether you want to get one.
5. Body odor: Siamese cats have a certain body odor, and their feces are also very smelly. In addition, Siamese cats don't bury their feces very often, resulting in them frequently smelling bad, which can be difficult for most people to accept. If you want to keep a Siamese cat, you need to pay extra attention to their hygiene and adjust the frequency of bathing them appropriately.
