Generally, pet stores don't adopt cats or other pets because they can't guarantee their pedigree and health. If a cat is of good quality, is a kitten, and can provide relevant pedigree certificates, they might be adopted. However, it's not recommended to give it to a pet store. If you really don't want to keep it anymore, it's best to find the cat a suitable new home.
Abandoning is also not recommended. Abandoned cats are highly susceptible to disease and have a low survival rate. If you really don't want to keep the cat anymore, it's advisable to find it a suitable home. Never abandon it. An abandoned pet cat in the wild is essentially waiting to die, as it has no experience of independent living. In areas with large numbers of stray cats, it is not only prone to infectious diseases but also easily hit by cars or involved in other accidents. Unlucky cats may even encounter animal abusers, poisoning, or other forms of cruelty.
