Although cats have the instinct to digest raw meat and bones, chicken bones, regardless of their size or hardness, are not suitable for feeding directly to cats.
Cooked chicken bones pose a greater threat to cats because they become more brittle and sharper after cooking, potentially causing serious injury. A broken chicken bone could even cut a cat's throat if ingested.
