Cats may experience poisoning if they ingest cockroach poison. After ingesting cockroach poison, cats may exhibit a range of symptoms, including but not limited to lethargy, loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, and conjunctival cyanosis. If a cat ingests a large amount of cockroach poison, more serious conditions may occur, such as convulsions and cyanosis of the mucous membranes.

In terms of handling, if a cat has accidentally ingested cockroach poison, the owner should take immediate action, such as inducing vomiting with soapy water, or taking the cat to a veterinary hospital immediately for gastric lavage and vomiting induction to reduce the absorption of the cockroach poison into the cat's body and alleviate the symptoms of poisoning.
