Cats should not eat lard. A cat's digestive system is much more delicate than a human's. Ingesting large amounts of lard can cause symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, and loose stools. Eating too much lard can also lead to obesity in cats. When their bodies cannot metabolize the fat, it accumulates in their bodies, putting a strain on their internal organs.
Fruits that cats can eat.
1. Durian: Highly nutritious, containing abundant protein and lipids, as well as various vitamins, calcium, iron, and phosphorus. Its dietary fiber also promotes intestinal motility. Veterinarians advise that it's okay to eat, but not in excess, and ideally at least half an hour apart from regular meals to avoid affecting digestion and absorption. Due to its high sugar and fat content, it's not recommended for obese cats.
2. Apples: Apples contain various vitamins and nutrients, and the phytonutrients in the peel are also very suitable for cats. However, they should not be given too many apples, as excessive apple sugar may cause indigestion in cats. Apple seeds contain cyanide, so do not feed your cat the apple core.
