Tips for finding a lost cat:
1. When a cat goes missing, you can contact relevant pet groups or post a lost cat notice.
2. If you still haven't found it, you can check nearby pet stores or stray cat centers. It's very likely that someone will take it to a pet store or stray cat center.
3. It may be trapped somewhere and unable to get out. The cat may be waiting for its owner to rescue it. Quickly go to the vicinity and call the cat's name.
4. You can check the surveillance footage in the neighborhood and visit all the neighbors in the same building.
5. Safety passages, water and electricity boxes, outside stairwell windows, air conditioner brackets, basements, and nearby green belts are key areas to search.
How to prevent your cat from getting lost?
1. If you need to leave your puppy alone at home, it is best to turn off the power and close the balcony door and windows before leaving.
2. If the owner lives in a busy area and is worried about the cat getting lost, they can install a locator on the cat and check the cat's location on their mobile phone at any time.
3. When your cat does something wrong, patiently explain the seriousness of the situation to it. Don't scold or hit your cat easily. Don't assume your cat got lost accidentally; it might have been planning to leave.
4. Cats experience significant discomfort during their heat cycle and will try every means to find a female cat to mate with. Owners can have their cats spayed/neutered at the appropriate age to greatly reduce the chances of them getting lost.
