Cats can drink millet porridge, but it shouldn't be their main food, as it doesn't meet their nutritional needs. Therefore, owners should primarily feed them cat food, supplemented with other foods. Millet porridge is mild and has cooling and easily digestible properties, making it suitable as a supplementary liquid food for cats with gastrointestinal discomfort, gastroenteritis, or after surgery, reducing the burden on their digestive system. However, when cooking millet porridge, avoid adding any spices or seasonings; simply cook it with plain water. The water content should be relatively high; too thick a porridge will stick to their teeth and easily form tartar. 
Methods to supplement the nutrition of cats:
1. Eggs. Eggs are rich in lecithin, which can make a cat's fur shinier and more lustrous. However, cats can only eat cooked egg yolks, and no more than 2-3 eggs per week.
2. Carrots. Carrots contain a large amount of carotene, vitamin A, and minerals, which are beneficial to a cat's health. Carrots must be cooked thoroughly before feeding them to cats, and no seasonings should be added, otherwise it will irritate the cat's stomach.
3. Bananas. Bananas are rich in potassium and dietary fiber, which can promote intestinal motility in cats. However, they should be given in moderation, otherwise they may cause diarrhea, vomiting, or other problems in cats.
4. Cheese. The calcium and protein in cheese are easily absorbed by cats, which is beneficial for their growth and development. Cheese also contains abundant vitamins and lactic acid bacteria, but try to choose unsweetened goat cheese.
5. Chicken breast. Chicken breast is low in fat and high in protein, which can supplement your cat's nutrition. You can buy some chicken breast, cook it, and feed it to your cat regularly, or you can buy some freeze-dried chicken breast treats, which is more convenient.
