Common mistakes in feeding cats:
1. Frequently giving your cat treats. Overfeeding treats can lead to picky eating habits in cats. Treats should be given as rewards. Never overfeed your cat just because they are greedy.
2. Giving cats milk. Many cats are lactose intolerant, and human milk contains too many additives that cats cannot digest. Giving them milk once or twice occasionally will not cause any problems, but if they drink too much, they will vomit and have diarrhea.
3. Cats love to eat fish. Fish provides cats with good protein and other nutrients, but excessive fish consumption can be harmful to their health. For example, a long-term diet high in tuna can cause yellow fat disease in cats. This condition is caused by insufficient levels of various vitamins in the diet, leading to a painful inflammatory response.
4. Feeding your cat liver as its main food. Cats are carnivores. If you buy chicken liver for your cat every day and feed it to them as their main food in the long run, it will cause your cat to become obese. 
The correct way to feed a cat:
1. The amount of food should be determined according to each cat's age, size, activity level, and temperament. You can refer to the food instructions or consult a professional veterinarian. Feed your cat consistently over a period of time, and avoid drastically changing the amount of food.
2. Cat food contains appropriate proportions of protein, fat, vitamins and minerals. A deficiency or excess of any of these components can lead to illness.
3. Cat's feeding utensils, mats, and towels should be disinfected frequently with disinfectant to prevent bacterial growth and protect the cat's health.
