Methods to prevent ringworm in cats during daily life:
1. To prevent ringworm in cats, you can increase their nutrition and improve their immunity. It is recommended to adjust the cat's diet and feed them food with high nutritional value.
2. You can also take your cat out in the sun more often to help prevent ringworm, as ultraviolet rays have a good bactericidal effect.
3. The cat's living environment and belongings need to be disinfected regularly. This can be done by placing the cat's belongings and cat bed in the sun to dry.
Symptoms of ringworm in cats:
1. Cats infected with ringworm usually exhibit symptoms such as itching, irregular circular hair loss, dandruff, and scabs. When the affected area is irradiated with a Wood's lamp, apple-green fluorescent spots will appear.
2. Because cats frequently scratch the affected area, it may cause secondary bacterial infection, which clinically manifests as skin redness and ulceration.
