Basic knowledge about raising Siamese cats:
1. Regular deworming. If your Siamese cat goes outdoors frequently, you must not neglect deworming. It is recommended to perform external deworming once a month and internal deworming once every 2-3 months.
2. Regular vaccinations. Take your Siamese cat for its first vaccination around 2 months of age, and then vaccinate it annually if necessary, as most vaccines are only effective for about 11 months.
3. It is very important to play or train your Siamese cat. This will keep your Siamese cat happy, make it more obedient, and also help it burn off some energy.
4. Choose the right cat food. Siamese cats are carnivores and have a high protein requirement. It is recommended to choose a cat food with a protein content of around 36% to 48% for your Siamese cat.
Important things to note when raising a Siamese cat:
1. When keeping a Siamese cat as a pet, be careful not to neglect it. Siamese cats are quite sensitive and clingy, and they are prone to jealousy and even temper tantrums, so they need a lot of companionship from their owners.
2. Siamese cats go into heat earlier than other cats, but reach sexual maturity later. Owners should not find a mate for their Siamese cat as soon as it goes into heat, as this is not good for the cat's health.
3. Siamese cats love to lick their fur, and their tongues are rough, making it easy for hair to accumulate in their intestines. If they are not groomed frequently and hairballs are not removed regularly, it can lead to hairball syndrome in Siamese cats.
4. Siamese cats are very sensitive to cold, so their cat beds must be in a warm place, ideally where they can get direct sunlight during the day but are protected from cold drafts at night.
