Food restrictions for Châteauroux cats:
1. Chartreux cats cannot eat foods high in salt. Chartreux cats are very sensitive to salt. If the salt content is too high, it can easily cause salt poisoning in Chartreux cats, as well as worsen eye discharge and put a heavy burden on their kidneys.
2. Do not feed your Château cat fatty meat, as it can easily cause indigestion, vomiting, or even diarrhea.
3. Do not feed your Château cat chicken bones or fish bones, as these foods can scratch or block its intestines.
What should a Chartreux cat eat?
1. Chicken breast. Chicken breast is very low in fat and rich in protein, so it's unlikely to cause obesity or high cholesterol. You can boil chicken breast in water and feed it to your cat. 2-3 times a week is enough; otherwise, it may cause your cat to become a picky eater.
2. Fish. It's well known that cats love fish, and fish is a good food for them because it's rich in protein, easily digestible, and contains abundant minerals. However, don't feed it to them too often, as this can make them tired of the food.
3. High-quality cat food. Cat food is arguably the most suitable food for cats in modern times. A high-quality cat food can meet a cat's daily nutritional needs, and it's ready to eat right out of the bag, saving time and effort. Cats also love to eat it.
